As the festival grew, my jobs changed and I sold raffle tickets, merchandise and artists Cds to patrons, which had the bonus of hangin' with what ever blues artist came to town that year. It is still the best volunteer job anyone could have. Pictures never say a thousand words unless you are at the bottom of the stage stairs when James Cotton finishes playing and plants a sweaty fat kiss on your face and you live to tell about it.
